Session 1

AI Fundamentals

In this session, we’ll work through the most crucial fundamentals of AI: what it is, how it works, and how to start using it confidently. We’ll cover core concepts like large language models, training data, and interfaces, followed by a guided tour of ChatGPT and its custom instruction features.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand what AI and large language models (LLMs) are and how they function.
  • Discuss common myths and realities about AI, and see the data on the power of these tools.
  • Learn to navigate the ChatGPT interface confidently.
  • Use custom instructions to tailor ChatGPT responses and improve user experience.
  • Practice simple prompting to experience how AI generates answers.

Session 2

Being Your Best Prompter

In this session, we’ll unlock the power of prompting. We'll explore prompting strategies, including structured prompts, and how to use ChatGPT’s Canvas feature for drafting content. We’ll show how asking better questions leads to better answers, and how slight adjustments in prompts can produce much better results.

  • Learn the best practices for crafting high-quality prompts.
  • Identify and learn to use structured prompt frameworks to get the most out of initial prompts.
  • Explore practical prompts for writing, brainstorming, and problem solving
  • Become an expert Canvas user in ChatGPT to develop great content quickly.
Session 3

Maximizing Your Use

In this session, we'll explore advanced capabilities in ChatGPT. We’ll dive into Custom GPTs, Projects, and Deep Research to identify key opportunities for automating workflows, conducting expert-level research, and getting the most from ChatGPT.

  • Create and use Custom GPTs to automate key tasks and improve workflows.
  • Learn to organize work and resources across your chats with Projects.
  • Leverage ChatGPT for deep research and analysis to produce quality research quickly.

Session 4

Agents and Beyond

In this final session, we’ll work with the Agent feature in ChatGPT and expand our scope to help participants explore additional AI tools that can amplify their work. We’ll showcase tools for design, presentations, audio, video, and automation, giving participants a roadmap to build a personalized AI toolkit.

  • Learn how to automate tasks and have ChatGPT do work for you using the Agent feature.
  • Discover complementary AI tools for text, design, audio, and video.
  • Understand integrations between ChatGPT and other platforms.
  • Design a personal “AI toolbox” plan for ongoing use.
