A Little More About Levi
Largely self-taught and as naturally curious as they come, Levi's organic love of code propelled him straight to a spot at the Mostly Serious engineers' table in early 2018. In his first few weeks in the gauntlet he proved himself more than worthy of tackling off-the-wall problems, adapting to new programming languages, and finding solutions quickly.
Before joining the Mostly Serious team, Levi cut his teeth as a technician and webmaster for a small town IT and computer repair shop. After two years there, he moonlighted as a freelance web developer while getting to know engineering in a more traditional sense as a draftsman at his dad's company. According to Levi, he hopes his varied engineering and front-end experience will someday prune him to be a shoo-in candidate for a leading tech company like Google or Facebook.
"I'm always looking for ways to be involved in programmer communities. I want to contribute more to open source and to try my hand speaking at technical conferences." — Levi
In Levi's free time, he still codes ("I code a lot," he says). He also likes to dabble in vintage Nintendo games like Super Mario, Metroid, and Legend of Zelda. If he could be any famous movie character, he'd be Iron Man—one, for the cool suit, and two, to utilize Iron Man's cool-as-hell AI assistant, J.A.R.V.I.S.
Levi also loves lasagna so much that he asks for it every year instead of a birthday cake.
