Setting a Management Foundation

As new managers begin to work through each of these fundamental abilities, they often lack a comprehensive management framework (i.e., "this is how I manage my team") that can be used as a guiding approach in their day-to-day interactions. This course helps managers master critical skills like communication, delegation, and goal-setting.

Participants will gain a comprehensive overview of common theoretical approaches to management, an understanding of the differences between management and leadership, and a guided approach to developing a management style.

Deliverables include a "My Management Style" worksheet, a list of management resources, and a 1-sheet of key takeaways.
