A custom-crafted website for an American-made furniture company.
Pull up a chair (or sofa. or ottoman.) and get to know Justice.
Angie Jackson, the third generation in her family to lead Justice Furniture & Mattress, told us early in our partnership that her whole team once went an entire month without using the word "no" — just to practice how far they could go to provide customer service.
That kind of commitment to doing the right thing is in the fabric of the Justice company, but their website had not been maintained to keep up with their signature level of service and quality.
That's where we came in. But first, we took a field trip.

Handmade in Lebanon, Mo.
Our team got a firsthand view of the handcrafted care that goes into each piece of Justice furniture. This really gave us an understanding of the history and quality work that goes into every piece.
We were ready to get to work.
Angie's father, Dan Wampler, is still hands-on, shown here in the Justice hat.
Building a New Brand Look
We first got to work reimagining the Justice logo. The old version featured a chair image, in addition to the words "Furniture & Bedding," both of which were too narrow to describe the breadth of Justice products. We explored different options that fit within the style direction of "classic luxury with a twist," using high-end fashion brands as a starting point for inspiration.
The final result feels upscale, with a modern take on weave texture that nods to the care and intricate craftsmanship in every Justice piece.
Bringing Justice to Life Online
We knew the existing Justice site wasn't living up to their needs. Customers needed an easier way to find and explore products. Dealers needed a better sales tool. And Justice needed to better tell their story and grow partnerships. We worked with the Justice team to determine goals and find out how different audiences could better interact with the site.
In the furniture and mattress space, Justice competes with bigger brands and larger marketing budgets. We wanted to make a site that gives users the experience of visiting a big competitor's ecommerce website. The final result includes many upgrades to the site design and user experience:
- The new site is mobile-friendly and has a more modern design.
- Content better communicates capabilities to designer partners and commercial clients.
- The site is more flexible and adaptable to showcase their ever-changing product line.
- Advanced product filtering, where there had been just a simple product listing, allows for a more custom interactive experience.
- Entirely new Where to Buy functionality lets users find dealers nearby.
The Justice team now has a site they can be proud of, which can grow with their business for many years to come.
"Mostly Serious was the perfect fit for our new website. What impressed us the most was the amount of research they put in to learning about the furniture and mattress industries. This level of commitment for understanding our business really set the tone for our partnership. We would highly recommend Mostly Serious to any company wanting to modernize their website and grow their business."
