Building a local food system in Springfield

Springfield Community Gardens is a local organization that believes changing food systems can change the world, and they're working to create a community where everyone has access to healthy, local food.

We partnered with the SCG team to refresh their visual identity and create a new website that will help them reach new volunteers and donors, along with spreading their message and methods to other organizations across the country.

The new site features clear calls to action that help people get involved. Custom photo treatments build upon their existing photo library and illustrations to create a bright and polished look that nods to the activism in SCG's roots.

The site is beautiful and we're very proud of it. Thinking intensely about our new site's flow and structure in close collaboration with Mostly Serious had the positive side effect of encouraging us to consider our own programs and structure, not just in terms of the site. Definitely a constructive process.
